Barbara is absolutely magical. My son usually rails against schoolwork and learning in general, but after 60 minutes with her he’s beaming and has truly enjoyed himself. Barbara has an incredible way of making learning fun and engaging – my son describes her as the only person he actually learns something from. I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough and I am so grateful that she was recommended to us by another school mum.

My daughter & son attended weekly sessions with Barbara which they both thoroughly enjoy, Barbara has an amazing approach to teaching warm friendly enthusiastic, the one-to-one sessions have really helped build confidence the kids can then take back into the classroom. Barbara learning environment is very warm welcoming and beautiful the kids are always happy going and leaving the sessions, I would highly recommend.

Barbara is simply wonderful. Or six year old son was really struggling academically and with the classroom environment. The school didn’t seem able to give him the support he needed so we took the decision to take him out of school one day a week and give him a break from the classroom. We were lucky enough to secure a slot each week with Barbara. What Alfie achieves in an hour one-to-one with Barbara is truly astonishing, he is genuinely excited to go to see her each week and is always buzzing with enthusiasm when he comes out. In just a few short weeks we have noticed a huge improvement in Alfie’s confidence and he is no longer afraid to read. This and his improved ability has had a hugely positive impact on his school experience and I cannot recommend Barbara enough. She is warm, friendly, fun, professional and having been a primary school teacher for so many years has all the knowledge and experience you could wish for. Every child needs a Barbara in their life!

“Barbara’s tutoring service has been amazing for our daughter. She needed help building confidence in her Maths and English, which Barbara has been invaluable for. She has so much patience, care and understanding adapting the lessons to suit our daughter’s way to learn and take in information. I have and would recommend Barbara’s services to anyone who is looking for support for their child’s learning, she has so much passion for helping children learn and you see this in every lesson.” 5 stars

“A few months ago we made the exceedingly difficult decision to take our daughter out of traditional schooling. We cannot tell you how relieved we are. She has done nothing but excel in her reading, writing, mathematics and even Spanish. Barbara teaches in such a fun way and her leaning environment is beautiful. After two decades experience of teaching in a main stream education Barbara has vast experience making her one of the most enthusiastic and friendly teachers we have met. This certainly rubs off on our daughter boosting her appetite for learning.” 5 Stars

“I was recommended Barbara by a mutual friend, and I’m so grateful for the connection. She has been an incredible tutor for my 7 year old son, who really struggles in school and has fallen behind. From the very start, Barbara has been patient, nurturing, and understanding. She has formed such a strong, trusting bond with him, which has made all the difference in his learning journey. He feels completely at ease with her, which allows him to approach his challenges with a sense of security.

What I appreciate most is Barbara’s ability to make learning fun. She has a wonderful, engaging approach that has helped him enjoy learning, despite the struggles he faces. Thanks to her skills, patience, and fun methods, my son is slowly starting to change the way he feels about school. While he still faces challenges, he is no longer as anxious or disheartened, and he’s beginning to develop a more positive attitude toward learning and his progress.

Barbara has been a true source of support for both him and for us, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive influence she has had. We look forward to seeing how he continues to progress with her guidance.”5 Stars

I just wanted to say thank you for Friday’s PSHE [training].  It was very informative.

We packed a lot in and it’s already proving useful as I’m planning PSHE for next week! The documents we looked at are really helping.
